These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the LLAMA website (https://llama.org.au), participation in our programs, events, volunteer activities, and any services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging with LLAMA, you agree to these Terms.

LLAMA (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a volunteer‑run, not‑for‑profit organisation supporting the wellbeing, integration, and community participation of Latin American and Spanish‑speaking communities across Australia.


1. Use of Our Website

You may use our website for lawful, personal, and non‑commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the website in a way that disrupts its functionality
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
  • Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content
  • Use LLAMA’s content for commercial purposes without permission

2. Participation in Programs, Classes & Events

LLAMA provides free community programs, including English classes, workshops, cultural activities, and events such as the Spanish Language Fiesta.

By participating, you agree that:

  • LLAMA may contact you regarding schedules, updates, or program information
  • You will provide accurate information when registering
  • You will behave respectfully toward facilitators, volunteers, and participants
  • LLAMA may adjust, reschedule, or cancel programs if necessary

Participation is voluntary and subject to availability.


3. Volunteer Participation

If you apply to volunteer with LLAMA, you agree that:

  • You will provide accurate information in your application
  • LLAMA may contact you regarding volunteer roles, schedules, or onboarding
  • Volunteer roles are unpaid and based on availability
  • LLAMA may decline or discontinue volunteer participation if needed for safety, capacity, or organisational reasons

Volunteers must follow LLAMA’s values, community guidelines, and safety expectations.


4. Donations (Future Use)

If LLAMA begins accepting donations:

  • Donations will be processed securely through a third‑party payment provider
  • LLAMA will issue receipts as required by Australian law
  • LLAMA does not store credit card details
  • Donations are voluntary and non‑refundable unless required by law

5. Learning Platform (LMS) Access (Future Use)

If LLAMA launches an online learning platform:

  • Users may be required to create an account
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure
  • LLAMA may suspend or remove accounts that violate community guidelines
  • LMS content is for personal educational use only

6. Photography, Media & Events

During LLAMA events or programs, photos or videos may be taken to document community activities.

We will:

  • Request consent when required
  • Avoid publishing identifiable images of children without guardian permission
  • Remove images upon request when reasonable

If you prefer not to appear in photos, please inform a LLAMA team member.


7. Intellectual Property

All content on the LLAMA website—including text, images, graphics, and program materials—is owned by LLAMA or used with permission.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute content for commercial use
  • Modify or republish content without written consent

You may share LLAMA content for community or educational purposes with proper attribution.


Our website may contain links to external websites. LLAMA is not responsible for:

  • The content of third‑party sites
  • Their privacy practices
  • Their terms of use

Accessing external links is at your own discretion.


9. Limitation of Liability

LLAMA provides programs and services on a voluntary, community‑based basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
