The Spanish Language Fiesta is a free, large‑scale community event that celebrates the richness of the Spanish language and the diversity of Spanish‑speaking cultures. Presented by LLAMA and Kooyawa Productions, the festival invites families, learners, migrants, and the wider community to connect through creativity, participation, and shared cultural experiences.

Culinary experiences that connect cuisine and heritage through storytelling — from paella as a ritual of sharing to Venezuelan Asado Negro as a symbol of family celebration.

Instituto Cervantes

A non-profit cultural organisation dedicated to promoting the teaching, study, and use of the Spanish language and culture worldwide. Its Sydney and Melbourne centres offer a range of Spanish language courses for people of all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced.

The organisation also hosts a variety of cultural events throughout the year, including film screenings, lectures, and exhibitions, showcasing the rich and diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. These events provide opportunities for students and the wider community to immerse themselves in Spanish language and culture.

In addition to its language courses and cultural events, the organisation offers a range of resources to support Spanish language learners and enthusiasts, including a library with more than 8,000 books, audiovisual materials, and online resources.

NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters)

A national standards and certifying authority dedicated to supporting high-quality translation and interpreting services across Australia. NAATI plays a vital role in setting and maintaining professional standards for translators and interpreters, helping individuals and communities communicate effectively across languages and cultures.

Through its certification programs, professional development initiatives, and industry leadership, NAATI supports a diverse network of language professionals working in sectors such as healthcare, legal services, education, and community services.
